Located between Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and Regents Park, Paddington is known for its grand and historic train station and the world famous Paddington Bear. Thanks to its connectivity and proximity to the city's main tourist sites, it has become a hub for international travellers.

I took the tube to Paddington and walked down to Hyde Park via Bayswater. I have to say I didn't expect it to be all that nice around there. My impression had been that Paddington wasn't all that desirable, as central London locations go. It's pretty good looking, with some pleasant looking cafes and restaurants around. The little terraces tucked away down side streets look very appealing too. No doubt they aren't cheap, but I suspect not as expensive as some other central London locations.

I took the tube to Paddington and walked down to Hyde Park via Bayswater. I have to say I didn't expect it to be all that nice around there.
